On the 14 November, we joined a Roundtable discussion with Linklaters and a number of listed companies, many of whom are Howells IMTrack clients.
ESMA launched a consultation on how the market abuse rules are working in practice. This process is likely to result in recommended changes to the Market Abuse Regulation.
Gemma Morgan from Howells joined the discussion to provide insight on client experience of the practical application of MAR and how software can support evolving market practice.
This was an opportunity for companies to feed back the changes they would like to see in the way the market abuse rules operate and a summary was circulated which issuers would choose to use as a basis for a response to the ESMA consultation.
